If you'd rather save your money than buy all sorts of expensive gear for
outdoor camping, then this is the experience for you. Survival Camp will
teach you about minimalist camping where you don't need a lot of equipment.
Learn just how little you can do with, and let the adventure of living off
the land begin!.
- Daily devotional and Bible study times which will challenge us to grow
closer to our Lord and to learn to walk in His ways.
- Survival Camp offers a more rugged, outdoor challenge to middle-school
aged campers than what is presented at Youth Quest
- Previous outdoor camping experience not required.
- Fewer campers at this camp allow those attending to develop friendships
with everyone in the group; also allows the leader/counselors to spend more
time with each camper.
- Base camp is on the back corner of our property in specially constructed
Adirondack shelters. These 3-sided, covered buildings will keep you
dry and protected from the elements.
Limited to 12 participants per camp for the very best in small-group outdoor
camping and teaching.
Parents are invited to a closing program on Friday evening at
6.30pm. Campers will be dismissed at 7.30pm at the conclusion of the
program.
Survival Camp activities will include
- Chapel teaching and worship
- Personal devotional time
- Archery
- Outdoor cooking
- GPS/Orienteering
