Each week a registered nurse will be available onsite at camp.  The nurse will dispense camper medications according to doctor’s orders. All medications must come in the original container from the pharmacy.

Also, the nurse is on duty in case of any injuries to a camper. If deemed necessary, the nurse or camp director will contact the parent/guardian regarding the extent of the injury. In rare cases, the camper will be transported to the hospital, or an ambulance will be summoned. We also have a close working relationship with the local quick response unit, and we have an EMT on site for additional support.

What if my child has special medical needs?

The registration form provides an opportunity for you to alert us to any medical conditions, allergies, etc that your child may have.  Either the Camp Director or nurse will call to discuss any conditions that may need extra care in order for that child to have a great week at camp.
